I have cable ties on now but they are not that tight. the rubber boot has a ridge about 5mm from the end which I assume fits into the grove which is on the drive shaft. The problem is that thecable ties dont hold the boot in place that firmly as the cable tie is so close to the edge. Will it be ok to drive like this or is there anything I can do to serure it better?

Cheers

Does anyune know where I can get new CV boots at a good price? My local dealer is talking of £50 per end x two which will work out at £200. I am changing rear wheel bearings and one I know one CV boot is split so I am thinking of doing inner & outer on both sides now.
