hi

iv purchased an e36 steering rack to go on my 318is, as i can no longer live with the 4 turns lock to lock. however, people have told me the e36 racks are not that much better. i was wondering, the m3 rack, having 3.5 turns lock to lock, sounds better, but would it fit standard e30??

You mean an E30 M3 rack?
if you're in the UK biggest problem would be getting your front seat passenger to do the steering.
