How do you replace the handbrake cables? Going from drums to discs so they need changing. They seem to run in a rubber/plastic casing which is attached to the chassis of the car. Does this get changed also or do you remove the cables from them?

The handbrakes cables come complete wth an inner and outer. I guess the cables are different on a disk braked to drum braked car so you will need to replace them. You might find the rear disk setup you are getting comes complete with the handbrake cables as they are a bit of a s0d to release from the backplates anyway!

i guess u mean where they go into the chassis into 2 tubes

did u get cables with ure m3 trailing arms?...

if so remove ure old cables and arms

u remove the cables by rotating the cable nr the bit where it goes in the chassis and just playing around with it til it comes out

remove them at the handle end though as there are 2 nuts there attaching the cables to the lever

Just like that! Last ones I removed required the use of a blowtorch!
