Ok maybe some of you can help me??

I've been doing a spot of 'spirited' driving in my 1983 323i and have noticed some rather 'fishy' :? behaviour at the back end...

Ive had the car up recently and noticed that the anti-roll bar at the back is just 18mm thick -and I can actually bent it in my puny hands!! which leads me to think I would be better off with something a bit more beefy.

So basically guys; what ARB can I swap mine for?? I know some E30's have up to 25mm bars -but which ones?

Check your rear carrier bushes before you get involved with changing ARBs.

You can bend a 18mm bar in your hands? are you sure?

I have an 1985 323i with standard ARBs that I race and it seems to be ok at the back. I do have an LSD though and slightly lower springs and Koni dampers so they might help? But if you are sure that the trailing arm, ARB, and sub frame bushes are ok and the spings and dampers are fine then a stiffer ARB is probably the next step.
