Throttle bodies on the m42

hi all. in the near future my IS engine is getting the treatment, and amongst many other mods i have been reading up about this throttle body stuff. was just wondering iy anyone new if a m20 325i throttle body would bolt on to a m42 318is engine? i know the m42 aint six pot n all but would it work? any recommendations?

I wouldn't have thought that the M20 throttle body will fit, as the M42 has two butterfly bores, where-as the M20 only has one.

I suggest you purchase a 'large bore' throttle body from the Zone. I have one coupled with a chip, and it's great!
