Before I undertake removing my door panel trim can anyone give me a guide to where the screws are and other tips so I don't break anything off. Is there enough free wire for the electric mirrors so it wont be a problem.

Prise the mirror switch out and disconnect its plug. Remove a cross head screw that's behind it.
Pull the door release handle and hold it out, and push the surround trim sideways towards the tip of the handle, so that it unhooks.
Unscrew the door lock button.
Two more crosshead screws in holes in the door pull (look upwards from slightly below). Slide doorpull forwards or backwards slightly (can't remember), so that it unhooks from the door pocket.
You now have to release several trim buttons arround the edge of the panel. There is a special tool for doing this, but it can be done carefully with a very wide bladed chisel or similar.
Swing the bottom of the panel outwards a bit, and lift the card off the clips at the top.
When refitting the card, makie sure all the clips along the top are engaged properly before you refit to much.
