Hi Guys,

Just a quick querey regarding the the above. I've bin considering fitting one of these as my current fuel pump bought from ECP only a few months ago is already failing as its seizing up every other day now :x . I know some guys here have fitted the Walbro pumps but was wondering if the standard injection system on my 89' 325i sport will be able to cope with the extra pressure this pump puts out??

Any advice much appreciated.

Ta very much.

Fuel pressure regulator sets the injection rail pressure, not the pump.

Thanks Brian. But would the extra flow rate from the walbro pump put extra strain on the regulator and later cause it to fail? Really want to install the Walbro as i'm getting hacked off with the ECP pump seizing on me.
