Last month I fitted set of brand new Uniroyal tyres to my 15'' BBS wheels, balancing was done and guy fitted weight inside the wheel.
He also mentioned that rear right wheel is slightly buckled and requires 80 grams of weight, he said when balancing done you'll be fine.
But it isn't actually it's awfull to drive, steering shakes at speeds around 80kmh and above 140 whole dash vibrates
I never had this problem with old tyres..so
I went to my local wheel seller to see what can be done..
the answer was, rear right wheel is buckled, slightly and can be done, and rear left is also not ideal but better than right one, and the best option is to correct both of them, problem is that cost of the job is around 100 EUR for booth wheels...so for now I repaired the rear right one and tried, man also said that these wheels require weight outside not inside, so we changed all weight.
Result is...a lot better, no more high speed steering shake etc but around 60-80kmh I still feel steering wheel vibration....

Is it possible it happens because wheels are not 100% straight?
Wheel correction cost a lot and these rims are old, wondering is it better to straight them or wait for a chance and get new ones?
I never had a deal with wobbly wheels so I hope you got more experience

thanks

Yes and having bent/ buckled wheels is dangerous. the damage that can be done will cost more then the cost of a pair of stock bbs wheels.

Dont waste Money on Repairing buckled Wheels, a set of stock bbs wheels with tyres go for around £50 -150. it makes sense to get a another set.
