I've broken my steering rack by running into a rock hidden in the snow. Serves me right for going snowboarding instead of working I guess. Anyway I need a new rack, my car's 89/g and the rack has an alloy body with round steering arms, I've been told ths is the only type that will fit, is this true? Also mine's PAS but I'd prefer to lose it, so the question is will a manual rack bolt straight in? Cheers ralph

Manual rack needs a different linkage as it fits in the forward holes.

E36 rack is a good upgrade - but requires a little bit of fiddling to make it work. Just some washers and pipe bending. :)
