I have just replaced the front and rear discs, pads & sensors on my E30 325i Touring. The light is still on the dash, brighter than everԚ…help! The light was flickering before I replaced everything and when I inspected the sensors before removing the old brakes etc, the sensors were broken off.(?)

Do a forum search for "220 ohm resistor" and my username.
Also check the sockets where the sensors plug in are clean with no corrosion.

Cheers, I am asuming this is the post your refering toԚ…Inside the instrument cluster, near the top of the temperature gauge, you will see the soldered connections of a large 220 ohm resistor. There is a rectangular lump on the back of the cluster which accomodates this resistor. Resolder these joints and all will be well, as long as the plug / socket on the strut isn't corroded.
The plugs look ok as they have obviously had little use (clipped up out of the wayԚ—ahelpful eh!) I will check all wires leading to it anyway. Many thanks.[/quote]
