hi lads my 316 tacho and mpg gauges are after givin up iv heard ther batteries in the dash that run out??? is this true and if so were can i buy these batteries and r they easy ta fit???


also in a urealted prob over 3500rmp the car starts spluttering and looses power. its heavy on petrol to. the dizzy cap nd plugs av been changed?? id be gratefull for any help.. :D

Blown fuse for me, happened to me last week. Check the fuse box - think it was number 21

It could be the SI board battery that's fubar'd. If this battery goes it can stop the instruments from working.

You can get replacements, but you need to use a soldering iron to remove and replace.
