hi again. more problems, this time its the sender unit. i have replaced the unit on the right as you look to the back of the car under the cover under the seat but the sender still wont chuffing work.i know the gauge works cause i tested it. help needed again.

I could be wrong,but im sure there is two senders on E30's

does the fuel light work. if it does it could well be a broken wire to the sender you have changed i had this on my last 325i

Hi i had this problem on my 320i se aswell i cheecked the same one as you have but it was still not reading the right amount of fuel left.I checked the one behind the passenger seat (the one with the circle shaped cover) i removed this and i found a broken wire on the unit in the tank so i replaced this and it stopped.

I replaced the one behind the passenger seat gonna try the one with the pump to see if it cures it
