hie dude,
have anyone try put in the m20 325i fuse box + wiring into the m40318i chassis ??
basically i don't really know how to remove the fuse box.. can anyone give advise ??

You can't just change the fusebox you have to strip all the wiring from the car.
If the cars are the same age they should have the same loom.
All the extra equipment is just added on (plugged in) with the exception of the check control panel which is built in.

Fusebox is held by a sigle self tapper at its rear, but the bulkhead grommet and a fair bit of the body looms are all attached.
As Martinaston says, all post fascelift fuseboxes are the same.

If you really want to change it, it's not that difficult on a stripped out car.
The fusebox loom starts at the right front of the car, goes across the front, back the left hand wing, into the fusebox, along with a couple of other minor branches.
It then goes down through the bulkhead, and splits into two.
One branch goes across behinf the dash, and the other branch goes back the left hand cill, splits, with one branch going into the boot and right across the back, and the other branch going across the back seat, and then all the way back to the front along the right hand cill, ending up at the central locking ECU.
