lower it slighty, improve the springs/shocks and add a front strut brace.

A strut brace makes a massive difference.

Just cause it's on it's 'arse' don't mean it will handle well, if it's on standard shocks, they will probably be fucked.

Get some H&R ARB's and re bush it all the way round.

Depends how much you want to spend.

You could buy coilovers, adjustable topmounts etc

Yes, they're road legal. Pilot cups are from what I've read better than R888's.

While bushes and decent suspension will make it better it's still not a great base for an amazing handling car, the shell is just not stiff enough despite the weight adding strengthening that bmw added. Stet braces may help a little, but the main areas for flex will be the floorpan at it's thinnest point ( where the doors cut into the shape) and across he from bulkhead causing the famous scuttle shake. For this reason there's no point going too stiff with the suspension.

You could always weld a roof on, add a roll cage or weld the doors up
cheers,

harry

May be wrong, but iirc, there was a post on here not long ago about a stiffening brace that ran from the rear of the car, and along it,s length. Not sure if it was cab specific,or even if they did one for cabs.
Was an American firm, i think. Realise that may be too extreme for you, but maybe worth a thought.

roll bars are one way to improove the handling with out affecting the ride quality

i'd use the black bilsteins with some eibach springs and anti roll bars and strut brace

you'll have decent ride and it will corner much flatter.

60mm spax kit on cab is just wrong wrong and again wrong.

and lots more

but the best way to improve handling is to fit m3 bushes....and make sure all the bushes are in top condition
