My 320i doesnt seem to want to run nicely when cold, but as soon as it warms up it runs lovely (but does chuck out quite a bit of white smoke which i think is brake fluid :( or maybe has a crack in the head letting water in, but doesnt seem to get thru any water!?) any idea what might be causing the rough cold running?

Not as much, but when stopped for an amount of time it goes back to throwing out white smoke...

well if it were to be going from the master cylinder into the servo, thus for thru the vac pipes into the inlet then it would be highly bloody possible.

When burnt, brake fluid emits white smoke.

No, temperature gauge never goes above half even in traffic when it was relatively warm. doesnt seem to use any water either as ive been checking it weekly to try to get to the bottom of this problem.
