Honest knowledgable mechanic!

Hi Guys,

My friends E30 is in need of a fair few bits doing to it in the next couple of months.
service, Bushes and possible exhaust manifold needs replacing.

The car is located in Streatham Hill area SW London.

Does anyone know of a good mechanic who knows these cars but isnt going to be expensive? (I don't need a receipt!)

i do he charge a about £20 hour and he had e30 cars in his youth when he was trainning and hes worked on mine he is good if you can gett it to norwich,norfolk regard scott

I have a friend in New Malden that does private work evenings and weekends for £20 an hour. I trust him with my car. If you can get the car to him he'll happily do the work for you.
Not that close but I thought I'd offer.
He has an e30 himself

Good mechanic and in-expensive don't usually go.

good mechanics will cost about the same as bad mechanics . the good mechanic will be the ones that are always busy...
a friend of mine owns a garage and he charges £20 an hour as well, that seems to be about average for little garages.
