hello

I've just bought a 320i convertible - and I'm new to E30's and 6 cylinders

I know its never going to be a really fast car but what tuning options are available for sensible money (ie. few hundred quid)

I've seen mention of chips etc. ? any good ?

(I'm not new to tuning - had cosworths before - so know about exhausts/ manifolds K&N induction kits) - just want to Increase performance a little without making a mess of a mint car.

thanks
david

Just dropping a decent 2.5 in will give you the most improvement for your mony and could easily be done for Ԛ£200 if you have the right mechanical knowledge. BHP will jump from 130ish (I think) to 170, well worth it. However this may not be what you want to do for originality / insurance etc.

thanks I will look at the thread.

putting a 325i motor in is interesting - but I'd rather keep it as it is and buy a 325i in the future.

thanks for replies
