starting problem ?

help needed asap i was driving my e30 when i turned the key off, and now when i go 2 start nothing happens but it trys 2 fire it i touch the termals on the battery quickley ? can anyone help ?

mines just started doing this i thought it was the petrol any help would be grateful

no when the batter is conntected it wont start there is nothing not even a click from the starter motor but when i quickley tap the termals together on the battery it trys 2 turn over ?

mine ok now it must have been the dodgey super i put into it
did you short the battery out or join the battery to the starter motor with a jump lead? Try turning the ignition on, is there any dash lights? with the ignition on join the pins in the diagnostic connector that activate the starter (brian will know which ones).
