Hi all. After posting and successfully completing the 'elephant trunk' drain clean on the firewall of the cab, I noticed a freshwater leak made worse driving in the rain. I tried to find it but to no avail (carpets up, hosepipe etc). Anyway went to pick up some parts in Brum from the top E30 man around (IMHO!!) called Jason (07745 836879) and he managed to locate it for me. Basically, after leaving the, now clear, elephants trunk, the water landed on the outside of the pedal box and, due to an old gasket, found its way into the drivers footwell, via the pedals. This was worse driving in the rain, cos' the wipers cleared water in to the drain! Anyway, problem solved.... I hope this helps somebody.
