Ok - so I know that the 318is was never made in touring form but I want one!
I would like to know the forums opinion on the best way to go.
Do I get a 325/320 touring and slot in the 318is engine and box. The 325 has the advantage of uprated suspension, brakes and rear disks... But will I need to swap the Instrument cluster and/or any other bits and bobs. I guess the front springs might need some attention because of the reduced weight of the 4 pot
Or
Do I get a 316 or 318 touring and slot in the 318is engine and box. In that case are the brakes going to be up to the increased power? The 316/318 touring also has the advantage that it was made until 1994
I guess one route is definitely gonna be easier than the other (both technically and on the pocket)...
Has anyone else already done this?
Cheers
Robin

Yup... discs all round.
Nice to get a later one too... they're pretty cheap now as well.
