Heyoh, since i changed the radiator on my iS, it hasnt ever been properly getting up to temperature, even when sitting at 80 on a motorway for an hour! not going to do anyone any favours surely? so i went to change the thermostat today (now) and was just wondering, how do u get the bloody thing out?!? got everything else off, elbow is off etc and i can see it, but does it screw out/in, or should it just pop out?

cheers guys, any help appreciated :D

All sorted- sorry for the simplemindedness!! just a bit corroded in. Now have the annoying task of finding a new elbow, because it cracked when putting it back on :banghead:

Woods should be able to get you one overnight if you say the car is off the road. Or make one out of gasket paper. Available from Camberlys or maybe even Halfords.
