I changed the coolant in my 325 today. Thought I'd do it the proper way for a change and drain by removing the block drain plug.

This came undone surpisingly easily given that I've never undone it before!

The plug is a lot shorter than I expected, is this how it should be or have I lost a bit somehow?

No, they are only a blanking plug. Always a good idea to change the washer while it's out as well.
