Alarm light on Cab

Hi

When I dead lock my pre face lift cab the red alarm light on the rear pannel under the number plate some times comes on. Mostly it does not come on but some times it flashes and some times it stays on all the time. I thought the alarm light only came on when the magnetic key was used?

Can anyone shed any light on this?

hi,
Your right mine only comes on when I use the mag key. Stayes on for a period of time then goes out. I would assume that if the car is messed with the light would go on to give you an indication of thre fact.
