I think that's the coding plug. You can take it out and replace it with another one.

This is interchangeable and makes the clocks acceptable in a 4 or 6 cylinder car.

Someone else will correct me if I'm wrong.

i have 2 with diffent numbers one has 13 on it and the other has 15 which one is which
