I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with there speedo not working as mine no longer does.

Before it stopped working it started to work intermittently, sweaping across the face of the speedo bellow the speed then back upto the speed i was doing then it stopped working alltogether.

Has anyone esle had this problem and was it easy to fix.

Cheers in advance,
Ian

Its been covered a million times mate and very very comman.

It'll almost certainly be a break in the wiring going to the speed sensor in the rear diff and easily cured by cutting out the last 300mm or so of wire with the plug on and replacing it with some new stuff.

the plug sholud be fine , just cut as close as possible to the plug and solder the joints and put sum heat shirk over it, or if you going to the scrappy just cut off the longest possible lenth.
