Hi guys

What are the advantages and disadvantages of fitting the eccentric track control bushes?
If anyone could explain the principal that would be great
I have done a search but there were loads of irrelevant posts and my eyes went square!

Cheers

The wheels are moved slightly forward in the arch improving the turn in of the car for better handling as far as I am aware.

Improve castor angle. The bushes are also solid,so they improve location.Turn in is improved as is steering 'feel'. Only downside is that the steering feels very slightly heavier. You may find that the front tyres rub on the front of the arch liner on full lock.Do it,well worth the effort.

Hi all, thats a good point I have the bushes and I assume the hole should be towards the outside of the car, which would push the wheel forward in the arch
Any help or tips much appreciated!

Got them on!
I did the ball joints and anti roll bar drop links and the front end feels amazing!
Really recommend the M3 bushes the car turns in so much better,
Pressing the ball joints in and out is not recommended though buy the whole arm(s) if you can!
