Hmm...
So here I am driving along in my 320i when I hear a sound exactly like the fasten seatbelts ding on an aircraft (you know the one?) The one that means , either your coming into land or your going to be hitting some kick ass turbulence..
Anyhoo, this is the third time it's done it. Doesn't seem to be a reason for it, there are no warning lamps coming on and the manual doesn't mention a warning sound in it.
any ideas?
Cheers..
Fasten seatbelts, put seats in the upright position

Three bong noises? Got a 6 button computer? If so sounds like the memo function is switched on, function is a reminder for the hourly news broadcasts, should make the noise about 10 secs before the end of the hour.
Could also be warning for ice (not likely in SA) but could be faulty temp sensor, or could also be the speed limit warning, but somehow I think you would know about these, as the screen on the OBC will flash.
