Gasket needed for this pipe to head?!

Just wondering if I need a gasket for this pipe into the back of the head?
I asked for one from BMW in my big list of parts but didnt get one so before I go back iI was just wondering if there should be one or not.
I presume there should be otherwise the coolant will piss out everywhere.

should b a paper 1 but cab use instant if needed

yeah there should be a gasket, although you could use hermetite

Cool, I'll call them tomorrow morning and email them a photo this time to make sure I get the right one. Im still waiting on them to get a new spring for the timing belt tensioner anyway.

Yep ...if you bought the entire head gasket set then it should be there .... just checked mine sitting on the floor and it's there

I didnt buy a gasket set, I just bought the individual parts as I got some other parts and gaskets from GSF. Oh well.
