hi, just lookin for a lsd for my car and wanted to know what different ones there are out there and which one is better, which ratio etc. Will this make any difference in performance to the car. And how much do they go for? cheers

depends what car you have as to which one's best.
facelift 325i sports used a 3.91:1 ratio which is quite low geared (good acceleration but high revs on motorway)
the lower the number the longer geared your car will be. so if you put a 3.64:1 ratio diff on you'll get less punchy acceleration but more comfortable cruising.
think those two are the most common ratios available, both good on a 325i but don't know about lesser e30s!
