Hello!

Does anyone know which mark on the crank damper of the M20 325 engine refers to TDC?

There's one marked 'OT' and another marked 'Z'

I'm trying to assemble the crank trigger onto the pulley at the moment but it'd probably pay to know what points to where, unless someone's got the trigger wheel from a later engine they'd be willing to part with? :)

ot is tdc
i have a trigger wheel from a 316i they have the same bolt patern!
i also know of a breakers that has another one the same as the one i used! it was from a early e34 520i very handy as they had an m20 so the sensor bolts straight on :) i paid Ԛ£20 for both! saved me a lot of problems modifing, machining, rebalancing, lining up the original!
