completely random BUT! will the lights with horizontal reverse fit one with vertical and vice versa
... and will a diff from a 325 fit on 316 ie are they all interchangeable?

The lights won't fit because the rear panels are different. The diff will fit in the sense that it will bolt on, but it won't necessarily make your car go faster as the ratios are different. It may well indeed make your car accelerate slower, someone here will know.
