Well my computer doesnt light up. Ive read the instructions for wiring one up. Is there any easy way to change the bulb that doesnt involve removing half the dash?

In a word, no. If it's the display light then you can release the radio/heater panel and pull it out just far enough to get access. The bulb for the buttons is on the back of the unit and will require the panel to be pulled out further, if not all the way. Maybe someone knows an easier method...

If you take your stereo out you can see the side of the obc unit. You will then see a small white square, it has a rib in the middle which you can pull with pliers. Give it a tug, and you will find it moves but is stopped by a bit of plastic that juts out from the back of the dash (on the left of the white square) this bit of plastic must be destroyed!!!
It has no structural purpose etc, so either twist/break it off with pliers, just enough to get the bulb pack out, or heat up the end of a screwdriver etc and use it to melt the plastic back.
Then pull the bulb pack (white square) out, and replace the whole thing, you cant get the little bulbs seperately as far as i know

Did this yesterday on an old six series, not everything has to be hard if you can bodge it!

Replacement bulbs are available from CPC, order no. SC00337, 37p each. You need two, and note they are 5V lamps.
