My drivers seat cable snapped the one for folding forward (2 door) pic included, anyone able to got hold of it recently, i will try ringing the stealers but IMO i doubt it, its a simple fix though, but i would prefer using the proper part.

Looks like they're still available. Only a few Ԛ£'s, depending on exactly which cable it is you're after.

I've asked my dealer for some very obscure E30 parts over the years, have never been told the part is no longer available, and the parts have always arrived within one working day.

I've found that the best thing to do is go armed with the part number(s) and not mention E30. They're always very helpful.
Brian.... Is that right you're around Barnstaple area??? I lived down that way for 16 years - then I got dragged away by Wor Lass!

Yep, out near the Huntshaw Cross TV mast.
I've always found the staff at Westerly BMW in Barnstaple to be very helpfull. Even got them close to admitting that the E30 is the best thing BMW ever built.

I know it. I lived in Taunton for 14 years, then Tiverton for 2. Regularly went to Barnstaple for various reasons. Went out with a lass from that area for a while too.
