Hi,
on my 325i....
manual rack came off no probs, but the power rack thats going on is having none of it, whats the best way to get it on?
lift engine with crane slightly? drop subframe?

Should nearly go in. Just bend the lower brackets down very slightly. They'll pull up OK when you tighten the bolts.

support tha engine and drop the subframe.
use a lump of wood at the exhaust side to stop it falling over.

I've never messed around lifting an engine to change a rack yet, including with a M50 conversion.
