Hi
any tips on removing the ignition barrel casing,i done one on a fiesta supersport (remember them)years ago it was held on with 2 sheer bolts and i cut a slot in them and used an impact driver to get them out,
i thought it would be a similar procedure, but cant seem to see whats holding the casing on
is there a thread/link,
also are the door locks held on by fork like things

are you trying to change the ignition barrel? the door locks are held on by number 19/20 in the following link. a big screwdriver will remove them and the lock will then pop out with a bit of manovering.

Hello, the ignition casing has one sheer bolt facing towards the dash on the underside of the casing. Good sharp centre punch, only needs to be tapped, then there is a spring clip on the shaft of the steering colum that you need to remove, turn ignition key then pull off. Thanks
