318 to 325 conversion

did a few searches but didnt find what i wanted

to convert a 318 to a 325 what would i need

engine
box
ecu
wiring loom
front part of prop

what about rad etc or cross member pas pump etc.... is it easier to get a 325. all it is is this one i have got has got a v solid body and if i can do the swap for a few hundred then it would be worth it

yes you would need all of the above,the 325 rad doesnt have the filler like the 318,it has a seperate heade tank,you wuld need to mount this and also the fuses from the 325 loom need somewhere to sit. also the 325 rad sits on two rubber mounts which are not on the 318 body,i cut these off of a 325 and welded them onto my 318 shell. also need to mount your airflow meter (if it doesnt have the standard airbox!)other than just mounting stuff its pretty easy! if you find your power steering lines are short you can get them extended or do what most people do and get a piece of copper pipe and 2 jubilees and extend that way. just get the motor in and take it from there,dont forget to put the 325 diff in though!! and suspension and front brakes!! oh it go's on....!!

........dont forget the rear anti roll bar!! it go's over the back of the diff!!!! if your 318 has rear discsyou may already have it,if not,get the lot!!

You'll need the complete propshaft not just the front half. They are balanced as a set and if you mix and match you'll get vibrations through the floor pan.

Also you need an exhaust sytem :)
