Hey all :D , this is a magnificent site. Now my left side passenger window has packed up. No action, and it eventually fell into the door panel :? . Im holding up with tape at the moment, while i try to get a new motor. is there a guide on this board on how i can repair this kind of thing? i've never done anything more serious than change plugs and oil. any help will be greatly appreciated.

The regulator (motor and hinged arm mechanism) has likely popped out of the guides on the bottom of the window.

Remove the door card then unbolt the regulator from the door to enable you to re-fit it to the window guides, then re-bolt.

Don't forget to carefully peel back the waterproof membrane behind the door card and re-apply after the repair to avoid any water getting into the cabin.

Sorted!!!! It was not exactly a cakewalk but I made it. the motor was intact, and had slipped out of the bottom of the window, like Chris said. Without diagrams and a reluctance to compare with the other door, I finally made sense of which tracks the regulator goes into... and bingo... within 2 hours I'd saved myself a trip to an auto electrician and a nice packet! And yes Kevin, I replaced the membrane...Once my thanks to you guys ! have a great long weekend...
