whats the quickest and easiest way to get the rear springs out???

dnt wanna undo all the back end unless i have to just want to fling in me mtec springs cheers Daz leeds

im sure they can be removed with only a spring clamp when jacked up, could be wrong though :?

in fact i think the bottom shocker bolt has to come out, and thats it. dont forget the spring clamps though! :thumb:

Bottom damper bolt and the spring should pull out no problems, might need a little yank as the caps can stick to the arms/springs.

i've never had to use a spring clamp on the back. if they won't come out easily then get someone to stand on the trailing arm to drop it as low as it will go then crowbar the spring out, sounds crude but youy won't damage anything :cool:

just couldnt remember if they would come out without stripdown nice one lads thats my saturday sorted just hope she sits well with the 16s??

What Toby said about not damaging anything you might want to read the bently manuel about changing driveshaft's and not dropping them past a certain angle because if the cv joint.
