What does the tps do at full throttle, does the ECU respond with more beans now?
Last question, I'll look this up separately, but if I remove the throttle body, do I need a new throttle body gasket and new locking nuts?

Cheers mate, if I unplug my tps there's no change on the idle like yours. What does yours do now? So I guess the switch was working it just wasn't ever activating? Which would mean the idle control was always closed right, hence low idle....
