yes its looks the same but its joined to the ind stalk with the obc ? i am dumfounded

whatever it is, it's nothing to do with the obc and shouldn't be there!

The plug shown on your strut topmount is not for the temp sender is there not a "light window" top right on the OBC face maybe the lamp is used for this ?
Not really sure as i have not started to fit mine yet will attack it very shortly though as i am due an "E30 Day"

na I certaintly dont have that bulb, I see the pic now.

that little yellow and green one I've got also and don't have plugged in either!

the yellow wire is for the external heater....completely ignore it....its for our scandinavian cousins use when their cars are in danger of popping a core plug.

the extra bulb is for the tow bar setup. it flashes once when you use your indicators to confirm a signal to the towbar electrics.

No they didn't, at least my '93 316 Lux Touring didn't :?

Is it easy to upgrade a 6 button in my Cab to a 13 button obc & fit the 6 button to my Touring?

I went from 6 to 13 button and it's much easier than starting from scratch.

so can i just tape up the light and take the bulb out will do no harm to my car is this ok
