Modified 325i getting 19~22mpg and loads of spm... that's "smiles per mile" :D
'89 325i - was an SE but not anymore, was bronze-beige metallic (yeuch!) but now techno-violet (thankfully)
'89 Toyota Corolla GTi-16 - track, hillclimb & sprint car (yeeha!)
'08 Buell XB12Ss - American engineering at it's 'best'... good fun though

For just travelling to and from work (only a few miles, too lazy to walk!) my OBC says 8mpg!! May aswell get a Hummer!

With really old man/steady driving on mainly 60mph limit roads, im only looking at 19mpg.

my 318is does 280miles to one Ԛ£35 tank.

65miles per hour at 3k rpm is ultimate fuel saving @ 47mpg

My 325i returns about 26mpg on a long motorway/main road cruise at 80-90mph (over 2000miles in Gernmany last summer)..

More mixed driving (motorway, town fast B roads) and around 21-22mpg is more realistic.

My M3 is about the same, perhaps a bit better on the b-roads whilst booting it a bit, but not as efficient at motorway speeds.

M3's are not for worring about how much petrol they use but to look good and go like sh@t of a shovel.

I've been monitoring my consumption recently because I've got too much time on me hands and I'm a bit sad.

Anyway, driving to work and back and round town, no motorway I've been getting;

24 mpg standard Asda fuel
26 mpg Shell Optimax
