in case you're serious, you'll tear the engine and gearbox mounts off!

this is best left to a difference of opinion all round. i'm sure most E30's have been jacked from almost everywhere they shouldn't by a previous owner / garage at some point by now anyway.

apologies if i get over defensive with any of the above comments but i only argue the case when i know that i'm right. anyway, as i said, lets leave it here. all areas / opinions have been covered and there looks to be no agreeable end to this so i'm signing off......

I would never put jack stads where the blue indicators are, you are basically putting the whole weight on the rear subframe bushes, one sure fire way to be changing them soon,...
