Yep, bought from barx - slowly working through all the faults.

From the above I'm guessing the diff has been monkeyed with hence the speedo not working.

It looks as if it has been apart at sometime and put back together very poorly - oh well

Still it is a lovely thing to drive and look at.

Oh, Barx, if your reading this the MOT actually runs to the 23rd of March

Back OT - if it is the aircon resistor then I shall leave it where it is and not bother with the battery move as I think I know the source of the leak

I would make sure the diff has oil in if the work that has been done isnt up to much! Speedo not working could be down to broken wires on the diff plug.

If the aircon doesnt work, which im guessing is the case, it probably never will as those italian retro fit things are generally shite and fall to bits.
Do you have the grill in the centre console?

What else has been attacked? Are the seats bolted down? :)

Don't fret - everything is being checked from the fcuked headlamp wipers to the rear bumper :)

That resistor is part of the dealer fit aircon system, I've seen it on E30's before and as Dan said neither system i saw worked! It is elsewhere on factory aircon cars....
