A few key words from your post makes me think you know exactly what im saying.

And we're not argueing anyway, we have different tastes and I like that we do, would be crap if we did all like the same thing, would mean the bits that I try to buy everyone else would be and it would cost more than it already does.

Like I said earlier I like the look of clean standard E30's but if I'm gonna spend money on a car I want people to say wow look at that. I guess that makes me an attention seeker but I love driving down the road turning heads (even if its for the wrong reasons) I'm not just into E30's I love the whole american car scene and the japanese car scene so maybe that's why I want different things to the majority of E30 owners. Like you said, doing your own thing is what makes the whole car scene fun and keeps it interesting.

The e30 suspension is designed to work within certain limits, beyond that it does not function properly, and will cause poor handling and be just downright dangerous/lethal in certain circumstances.

When I was building my racecar and doing the suspension, I had a very good look at how far I could lower it without doing mods to the standard units before the suspension became useless. You have gone right into this useless zone.

I have since lowered my racecar properly by adjusting the geometry (mounting/pivot points etc) and it is seriously low, but still retains the proper travel/setup necessary to make it handle well and not be a lethal weapon.

You are driving a lethal weapon and are too stupid to see it because of your need to have your own "style".

I only hope that when you crash it (and I say when, not if!), you don't kill anyone else, but hopefully Mr Plod will get his hands on you beforehand and get your dangerous piece of sh*t off the road before you kill yourself!

As I said earlier I'm in the process of building a completely custom setup to work at the height I run my car. If its dangerous to drive a low car tell that to the thousands of low cars driving around safely every day. When I get my new setup fitted it will have some shock travel and adjustable camber to get the geometry right. As long as the road is smooth I could throw it around corners as well if not better than most of the E30's on here. As it is now I take corners slow and steady and keep to sensible speeds. Please don't assume I'm some kind of boy racer who doesn't have a clue. Thanks.

Are you replacing the shocks with scaffold poles ?

Mate it wouldn't be any less comfortable I think I'm gonna go for VW corrado G60 bilstiens since there 4 inches shorter than e30 shocks. That along with camber plates should mean at the height I'm at I'll have a decent amount of travel

wow i just read 5 pages of all this damn youve had as much stick as me and will in the "stance " shizzle not gna join te arguements but going to help as you asked , me ive got totally solid mounts made out of box section aprox 15mm higher than e34mounts using this with my m50 conversion which brings it slightly higher than subframe i feel the shakes ect from engine but doesnt bother me but very noticeable i sat in wills bm last week and reved it feels much smoother and less shakey i cant memba whether his just got hockey pucks or puck plus abit of box section but ill be trying this when i can be bothered

Have you seen the distance between my sump and the floor? This means two things 1. I'm fucking rad and 2. I can't drive anywhere fast.

I've been driving with it this low for the best part of a year with no issues. Therefore I don't care what your saying about how you used to wear uniform and slide on polls with men and do ghetto roof chops etc..
