hid in preface lift foglights ?

i found a free set of hid kit today, so i thought to use it on the foglights (driving lights) to match the headlight. the problem is that they are non projector type.

any one done it before ? please post pics

Highly illegal to use foglights as driving lights in the UK, and HID light is not the ideal colour for use in fog, so it's not a question that would normally occur here.
IIRC, the pre facelift foglights use H3 bulbs, so as long as the HID bulbs are of this type, they should fit.

if its illegal in uk then it will be the same in australia.
