Sup Guys.

Ive got the dreaded problem of catching roof with door syndrome..

Its a fairly new hood but now has this small rip on the drivers side..barely visible but need to act now me thinks..

I noticed a drop in the door once you open it so i origianly thought buggered hinges...went out today to check, hinge bolts lose :)

great i think..source of my problem only to find it made things worse, looks like theyve been loosened to make it a bit better by previous owner..

I can lower window slightly to slove this problem and still keep a pretty good seal but i have to stand there and up-down-up-down till ive got it in its exact place..dont really wanna be doint that everytime i get outa my car in the summer :?

Any Ideas campers?

I'm sure if you take of the inner door pannel there is a way of ajusting the max height and Angle?? of the window glass. There was on my mates old 6 series.

Sup Widge..

Well if that is the case that would be very handy and would solve the problem of wrecking my hood whish this is doing a fine job..

I gota hold back my roof trim while opening and shutting the door at the moment so it doesnt get any worse..

ANYONE know if this is true to save me a bit of time..

Cheers

Exactly what the doctor ordered

TY!

I guess with a mixture of them 2 adjustments it would pull the window..erm..more square?

I could make the adjustment to make the window close to top a bit short but then it wouldnt be water tight on the front edge(towards windscreen) yet it WOULD fit better near the quarter where its catching my roof..

playtime..:)

I have had the same problem with mine. The edge of my roof seems to be slightly lower than the rubber weather seal so even when adjusted it is not a perfect fit. The passenger side was adjusted by dropping the rear of the window slightly but now causes a crap fit against the small rear window. So I gave up !! I will try again soon but I think I need a new roof anyway.
