ok my 325 will not start. it starts fine if its on the flat or pointing down hill. only seem to be having this problem when its pointing up hill. It seems that all the fuel has drained back into the fuel tank. any ideas guyz and galz?

is there a whine coming from the trunk when it is running?
This might be a bad fuel pump.
also check the fuel pressure regulator by pinching the vacuum line on it when it is running. if it changes nothing the regulator is bad.
Just a few things to start looking at.

I was just going to ask "what age car", but I see you've just posted '17 year old car', which is going to be post facelift.
Even if the fuel was draining back to the tank, it would only take the pump a couple of seconds to re pressurise the system.
All I can suggest is the usual procedures: Check for fuel from the fuel supply pipe, sparks at the plugs, and fuel in the cylinders.
