does anyone have the torque spec for the valve cover...just had mine powder coated and ready to reinstall... My car is a E30 M3 Thanks

The figure quoted is 9-11 lbs/ft but as long as you tighten it down evenly and dont use a 24" breaker bar you/it should be fine.

I believe the official figure is only 10Nm which is a bit less than 10 lbs/ft.

It's not quite that critical on the M20 that has studs and nuts, but on the 318is which has special bolts with rubber washers, it's very important not to overtighten or the M6 thread in the head casting strips very easily.
