when turning hard like in reversing into a car space or something I hear a knock from the front. Sounds like a bushing of some sort? Havn't heard it while driving yet

Could just be wishbone bushes.Do you get a shudder when braking? A pull to one side?

yea I must get it up on a ramp to check. yea juddering when braking although I thought it might be something with warpped discs or similar. Pulling to one side also but I did get my track rod changed a while back and enver got my tracking done so put it down to that.

My bro had this problem, he replaced both front arms. No more knocking.

If you replace the front wishbone arms they have the ball joints in there already. Its a relatively simple swap and then you know your wishbone is straight and true too.
