car runs sweet as a nut 1 day, then next day misfires and revs up bad all day the next???
spent so much on car and still none the wiser.
went to bmw and they were baffeled.
any clues or help well needed.

What have you looked at / replaced?
Have you checked the injector wiring beneath the inlet manifold? wiring connector corrodes and breaks down.
Blue temp sender?
Too many things it could be!
First eliminate the wiring to the coil / fuel pump by wiring a length of wire & lamp to each, then place them somewhere you can see them inside. They should remain brightly lit with no flickering. If they stay lit when she is running rough then chances are it's something else.
P.S either loose the avatar or reduce it's size by 50%

ive replaced, leads ,plugs, dis cap, rotor, blue and orange sensors, crank sensor, fuel regulator.. the injector wires were done last yr. idol control valve has also been changed.
as u can see i have done a fair bit to it.
dont know how to sort the aviator out sorry.

When you say it runs bad "all day" do you mean literaly all day or its just a pain to start ?

Loose connector to the ECU perhaps, or a dry joint in the ECU box itself?

hi i have 320i and it does the same thing but only when it is cold as soon as it is warmed up it is ok. try to put ya foot down and it splutters and farts at u . its a pain at 5.50 am when i get up to use the car . im gona have a look at that wiring today.
